New Apple Safari 1.3 and 2.0 now support HTML Editing/contenteditable

Don't know if you saw this but version 1.3 of Safari (which ships with Mac OS 10.3) and version 2.0 (which ships with the new 10.4) both support HTML Editing through the contenteditable and designmode attributes.

I would assume from this that there is now a path to making FreeTextBox work on Safari.

Here is the link to Dave Hyatt's blog where there is some brief info:
    http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/hyatt/archives/2005_04.html#007962

For those of us who work with schools great Mac support in general and Safari support is very desireable.

Any thoughts on when you will be investigating incoporating Safari support in FreeTextBox?

Thanks for pointing this out! I had heard that was coming, but I didn't know it was ready. I'll look into this for the next release.

We also be highly interested in Safari support of FreeTextBox editor, as more than 7% of our users use Safari.
please let me know when Safari support is available. Cutesoft.net editor does offer this since quite some time!
    Thanks.
